The Blackhall Probus Club, founded in 1985, is part of a world-wide movement which organises social events for retired men in the local area. With a membership of just over forty, we meet on the first and third Thursday of the month from October through to April at the Blackhall Bowling Club on Keith Row at 10:00 to chat over tea/coffee/biscuits before listening to a talk given by experts and enthusiasts across a diverse range of subjects. Our “Pie, Pint and Quiz Lunch” held immediately after some of our talks are great fun. Many enjoyed our walking group which always included a stop for a coffee and a blether. We normally hold our annual Christmas Lunch at a local golf club and schedule an outing over the summer to a place of interest.
